Wine tasting

Croatia is not only one of the oldest, but also one of the most diverse wine regions on the planet. We have more than 150 autochthonous sorts of grape, and high – quality wine is one of the most recognizable Dalmatian symbols in the world. Wine-growing has been part of Imotski tradition since ancient times.

One of the oldest wine cellars in this area is Winery Grabovac, whose tradition of grape-growing is almost 200 years old.

We will pick you up in Your hotel or in private accomodation and make sure that you enjoy the taste of Dalmatian Zagora. We can organize the wine tasting whenever you prefer, so please tell us if you have special wishes.

When we come to the winery, you will visit wine cellars and have a unique opportunity to introduce yourselves with the complete process of wine production, starting from barrique to champagnes and different sorts of brandy.

During the wine tasting, visitors are offered with homemade doughnuts and brandy as aperitif. After that, home-made smoked ham and cheese will be served, as well as wine which you choose. For lunch are usually served meals under bell, i.e. “peka” – which is a traditional Dalmatian way of preparing food, such as roast lamb or veal with potato. Also, other meals can be served according to your wishes. For dessert, you will have champagne, Imotski rafioli and Imotski traditional cake.
